Training for CSM/CSPO/CSD is mandated under Scrum alliance, and it provides a decent exposure to Scrum basics. While Scrum.org has advanced and basic courses for PSM/PSPO/PSD, it is not mandatory, and professionals do not go for it unless it is mandated.
Both the above certifications cover Agile basics at the higher level and have more focus on scrum. Of the two certifications, CSM has more elevated popularity. Advanced knowledge

For those who have completed the basic certification, pursuing CSP provided by scrum alliance is a natural choice. However, the knowledge that PMI-ACP brings along is not comparable.
To apply for CSP certification, no training is mandated, and you only need some units of Scrum education. There are no tests for CSP through the application itself tests your knowledge.
